Food waste is one of the leading problems in this country. More than 80% of the edible food in American Restaurants is wasted while only about 1% is donated. America is ranked third among the world's most food-wasting countries, discarding over 40% of all food produced. With our platform PlateConnect, we plan to make a profound impact on this problem.

Our Mission is to reduce food waste and build a sustainable future by connecting restaurants and foodbanks to minimize wastage of edible food. This aligns with the UN Global Goal 2 which is to ultimately create a world free of hunger by 2030.
